Introduction to International Defensive Pistol Association Competition

This course is designed for those who want to improve or get started in America’s fastest growing practical pistol discipline, the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).

Course Outline Dates & Locations Student Check-list

Introduction to Defensive Rifle

This class will help you to develop your defensive rifle skills. You will learn:

Techniques to improve your target acquisition speed on single and multiple threats

· Proper trigger control

· Rifle to pistol transitions

· Re-Loading drills

· Malfunction remedies

· Shooting on the move

· House clearing basics

· A complete equipment/ammunition review

This course is taught in one day on the range. It is limited to a maximum of three students. The fee is $250.

Basic Concealed Carry

This class provides everything you need to become a law-abiding conscientious CCW licensee, Including:

1. How to obtain CCW licenses for New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

2. A certificate that is recognized as proof of proficiency in these states (and most others) to obtain a CCW.

3. A comprehensive explanation of the judicious use of deadly force.

4. How to safely (and discretely) carry a concealed firearm.

5. Basic safety and marksmanship skills (a refresher for some, a revelation for others).

6. A complete equipment overview featuring the following methods of concealed carry: inside the pants, outside the pants, tuckable holsters, ankle holsters, pocket holsters, belly bands, undershirt holsters, shoulder holsters, and fanny packs.

This is a one-day course taught in the classroom and on the range. The fee is $250.

Introduction to Handgun Safety and Marksmanship

This is a six-hour course for the new or prospective gun owner. The material is presented in either one or two sessions. The fee for the complete course is $200 plus a $10 range fee per session.
